SAVE THE CHILDREN GUNDOG WORKING TESTS 2005
Sponsored by James Well Beloved Dog Food 01935 410600 http://www.wellbeloved.com

Calling all retrievers! An exciting opportunity to qualify your dog for a prestigious final where the best working test dogs will compete against each other - all are welcome to enter

Dogs of any standard may enter the heats where exercises will be designed to enable the dogs to prove themselves able to mark, handle and display hunting ability and initiative. The aim is to provide an enjoyable day with as many handlers and dogs as possible taking part and to encourage others to take up the enjoyable sport of working retrievers.

The top four dogs in heat heat will qualify for the finals hosted by the Osberton Estate in Nottinghamshire by kind permission of the Foljambe family. Osberton has hosted many gundog events in the past and provides the kind of venue that can only be obtained on an estate where country pursuits were a consideration in its creation.

Proceeds from the whole event are donated to the Save the Children charity and we want to encourage as many people and dogs as possible to come along and take part, or just watch. Save the Children fights for children in the UK and around the world who suffer from poverty, disease, injustice and violence. We work with them to find lifelong answers to the problems they face. With regard the Tsunami disaster, the special emphasis is to bring immediate and lasting, positive change to those children affected. followed by a long-term focus on recovering livelihoods through job skills training, repairing or rebuilding infrastructure, schools, homes and health centres, and providing emotional support for trauma victims.

Enter as many heats as you like and give your dog a chance to shine
