Sunday 14th May 2006 Church Farm Barn, Royston, Herts

We had an excellent day, the weather was kind, not too hot and no rain! There was a good entry of 48 dogs which was excellent since there were some other events on on the same day. Most of the tests involved crossing a very narrow river, and in some cases the dogs had to be obedient enough to go across out of sight of the handler which caused a few difficulties. The grass is very long at this time of year and it was a very still day especially in the morning which meant that there was very little scent, but the scent improved in the afternoon and everything became easier!

The results were:

1st THOR OF WESTERNASH - Mary Darton
2nd MARCUS MAYBE - Andrew Wright
3rd = DELFLEET DOUGAL BY WESTERNASH - Mary Darton
4th - REDBRECK DANNY - Mick Moore

Reserves FLINT - Sarah Gadd; LAUREL - Sarah Gadd; KENZED HAZEL - Katie Claxton

An award was also given for best spaniel and he is in the picture along with the other prize winners. He is Mr E. Webb with "Boss"
